Your account

This page covers getting into FYAI and the personal settings under Settings → My account. For your data and account deletion, see Data and privacy.

Signing up

FYAI is in closed beta, and new accounts are by invitation.

  • You've been invited. Open the link in your invitation email and complete enrolment. When you first sign in, FYAI accepts every pending invitation sent to your email address, so you land as a member of the organisations that invited you.
  • You haven't been invited. On the sign-in page, Don't have an account? Sign up opens the enrolment form. If your address isn't approved for the beta, you'll be asked to request access at fyai.co.nz/request-access.

Organisations that use Microsoft Entra ID may be set up for single sign-on through Microsoft. Ask your administrator if that applies to you.

Signing in and out

  1. Go to the FYAI app and select Continue with SSO.
  2. You're redirected to FYAI's secure login portal. Sign in there.
  3. You return to the app.

To reset a forgotten password, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page. If you're already signed in, use Settings → Account → Reset Password.

To sign out, select your avatar in the top-right corner, then Sign out. This ends your session in the app and at the login portal.

Your first sign-in

The first time you sign in, FYAI sets up a workspace for you:

  • a personal organisation, with you as its Owner
  • a default project inside it, selected as your current project
  • a starter set of platform-provided resources (models, agents, teams, functions and more) in that project

The Welcome to FYAI dialog then offers Take the 60-second tour or Explore on my own.

See Organisations and projects for how organisations and projects work.

Get Started checklist

While you have unfinished steps, a Get Started card at the bottom of the sidebar shows your progress (for example "3 of 10"). Select it to open the Getting Started page. The card disappears when you've done every step.

Guided tours

FYAI has guided tours of the platform and of the Agents, Models, Chat, Workflows and Missions pages. Start one any time from the Help menu in the header: Platform tour, Tour this page or Get Started.

To see the tour offers again, go to Settings → Account → Guided tours and select Replay tours. This resets every tour you've started or finished.

Settings → My account → Account shows:

Risk AppetiteYour personal choice of which tool calls need your approval before they run.

Personal risk appetite

The Risk Appetite setting decides which risk levels need your approval before an agent's tool call runs on your behalf. Choose Use project/organisation default to follow your project, or one of:

OptionRequires your approval for
Bypass allNothing, even critical-risk actions
Critical onlyCritical-risk actions
Balanced (default)High and critical risk
CautiousMedium risk and above

Your organisation may stop individuals choosing a looser setting than the project default. If so, FYAI saves your choice but applies the organisation's cap, and tells you so. See Governance for how risk levels are assigned.

Appearance

Settings → My account → Appearance changes how the app looks for you:

Testing

Settings → My account → Testing sets the Default Model that is pre-filled when you create a test case for an agent or team. Choose Use system default to clear it. You can still choose a different model on each test case. This preference is stored in your browser. See Testing agents and teams.
