Organisations and projects

FYAI has two levels of workspace:

Organisation members, roles, plan, billing, usage, org-wide settings
├─ Project A agents, teams, functions, workflows, missions, dashboards, ...
├─ Project B ...
└─ Project C ...
  • An organisation is a tenant: a company, a team or just you. It owns the subscription plan and token quota, the member list and organisation roles, and organisation-wide settings such as built-in tools and Teams bots.
  • A project is a workspace inside an organisation. The things you build — agents, teams, functions, workflows, missions, programs, dashboards, data sources, knowledge bases, webhooks, repositories and so on — belong to a project. Each project has its own members and project roles, and its own risk appetite override.

You always work in one current organisation and one current project. They're shown at the top of the sidebar in the project switcher.

Personal and shared organisations

When you first sign in, FYAI creates a personal organisation for you, named after your username, with you as its Owner and a default project inside it.

You can also belong to other organisations, either by being invited or by creating one. Unlike other organisations, a personal organisation can't be deleted except by deleting your account.

Switching organisation or project

From the sidebar. Select the project switcher at the top of the sidebar. It shows your current organisation and project. The menu lists the projects you're a member of. Select one to switch to it; the app reloads in that project. Select Manage projects to open Settings → Projects.

From Settings.

  • Organisation: go to Settings → Organization. Under Organizations, your current organisation has a Current chip. Select another organisation, then select Switch.
  • Project: go to Settings → Projects. Under Your Projects, select a project, then select Switch.

Everything you see — agents, chats, dashboards, usage — follows your current organisation and project.

Organisations

Manage organisations in Settings → Organization. The page heading reads Workspace.

Create an organisation

Any signed-in user can create an organisation.

  1. Select New Organization.
  2. Enter a Name and, optionally, a Description.
  3. Select Create.

You become the organisation's owner. The new organisation gets its own default project with the platform's starter resources. Switch to it to start working there.

Edit an organisation

Select the organisation, then select Edit under Details. You can change the Name and Domain. The Status (Active or Inactive) is shown but can't be edited here.

Only the organisation's Owner or an Admin can save changes. The Domain field is stored and displayed only; it doesn't yet control who can join.

Delete an organisation

Only the organisation's owner sees Delete. Personal organisations can't be deleted.

warning

Deleting an organisation permanently removes all of its projects and everything in them — agents, teams, functions, integrations, conversations, workflows, missions, programs, dashboards, data sources, knowledge bases, memories and webhooks. This cannot be undone.

Members and invitations

The Invite Members, Pending invitations and Team Members cards on the same page are covered in Members and roles.

Projects

Manage projects in Settings → Projects ("Manage your projects, switch between them, and share with team members").

Create a project

You need to be an Owner or Admin of the current organisation.

  1. Select New Project.
  2. Enter a Name and, optionally, a Description.
  3. Decide whether to keep Include platform-managed resources on (it's on by default). It "adds the platform's shared models, agents and teams to this project". Turn it off for a project that only contains your own resources.
  4. Select Create.

You become the project's Admin. If you left platform-managed resources on, FYAI provisions the starter resources in the background. See Templates for what these are.

Project details

Select a project to see its Name, Description, Type, Status and Created date.

  • Edit — change the name and description.
  • Delete — permanently deletes the project ("This action cannot be undone").

Editing and deleting need the project Admin role, or Owner or Admin in the organisation.

Project members

The Members card lists who can work in the project and their project role. You can add members by email, change roles, remove members and manage run access. See Members and roles.

Using several projects

Projects are separate workspaces. A common pattern is to build and test in one project and then copy finished teams and workflows to another. FYAI does this with promotion; see Promoting between projects.
