Managing conversations

Your conversations are listed on the Chat page. This guide covers organising them and finding old ones. Everything here applies only to your own chats; nobody else's appear in your list.

The conversation list

The list on the left of the Chat page is grouped:

  1. Approvals — chats with an approval waiting for you (see Approvals and hand-offs)
  2. Pinned — chats you pinned, most recently pinned first
  3. Recent (today), Yesterday, Previous 7 days, Previous 30 days
  4. One group per month for anything older

Each row shows the agent or team's picture, the chat title (bold if unread), the agent or team name, a time and a status dot (see Chat). More rows load as you scroll. Use the arrow keys to move through the list.

Layout controls:

  • Drag the list's right edge to resize it.
  • Collapse sidebar shrinks it to a rail of your most recent chats; Expand sidebar brings it back.
  • On a narrow screen the list is hidden; open it with the Conversations button in the chat header.

Your width and collapsed state are remembered in this browser.

Continue an earlier chat

Select the chat in the list. The transcript loads; on long chats, select Load earlier at the top to page back. Send a message to carry on the conversation with the same agent or team.

Rename a chat

Chats are titled automatically (see Chat). To set your own title, do one of:

  • Hover over the row and select the pencil (Rename chat), or open the row's ⋯ menu and select Rename. Type the new title and press Enter (Escape cancels).
  • With the chat open on the Chat page, click its title in the header, edit it, and press Enter.

Your title is never replaced by an automatic one.

Pin a chat

Hover over the row and select the pin (Pin chat), or use ⋯ → Pin. Pinned chats stay in Pinned at the top of the list. Use Unpin to put it back in its date group.

Use ⋯ → Copy link to copy the chat's address. The link opens the chat for you; other members can't open your chats (organisation Owners and Admins can, for oversight).

Archive a chat

Use ⋯ → Archive to take a chat out of the list without deleting it. Select Undo in the notice that appears if you change your mind.

To see archived chats, select Archived under the search box. The Archived chats page lists them with when each was archived. Select a row to open it, or Unarchive to return it to your list.

Delete a chat

Use ⋯ → Delete. The chat disappears and a notice offers Undo for about 10 seconds.

You can't delete a chat while its agent is still working (This chat is still running. Stop it before deleting.). Stop the run first.

To delete all your chats in the current project at once, go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Clear Chat History. This permanently deletes your conversations and their messages; it can't be undone. Chats that are still running are skipped. Your agents, teams and other configuration aren't affected.

Search your chats

  1. Select Search chats at the top of the list, or press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) on the Chat page.
  2. Type in Search your chats…. FYAI matches chat titles and message content (not raw tool output), and labels each result Title or Message with a snippet.
  3. Select a result to open it.

The chat drawer has its own History panel with a quick filter over your recent conversations; see Chat drawer.

Review runs on the Activity page

Sessions an agent ran without you typing — from a workflow node, webhook, schedule, program activity, sub-agent delegation or Claude Code delegation — aren't in your conversation list. They're on the Activity page at /activity.

The page groups runs into Needs you, Running, Failed and Done. Filter by status with the buttons at the top (each shows a count), or by trigger with the origin menu: All origins plus one entry for each trigger type among the loaded runs (Workflow, Webhook, Schedule, Program activity, Sub-agent run, Claude Code delegation). Each run links to what triggered it where one can be resolved (for example the workflow or program activity), and Load more pages back.

People's own chats never appear on the Activity page, even for admins.

The Activity page has no entry in the left nav yet; open it at /activity.
